Topic: Need printer ideas

Tom Routzong - 1/29/2008 8:12:39 AM
My 1st book was printed in India (full color hardback)for a great price. Mostly photos. That printer does not do paperback now.

I need a printer for my next project, a group biography, mostly print not pics this time.

Where can I find an inexpensive and quality printer quik?

Tom-

When I had my book "The Brain Dead Manager" printed, I used
"Good Impressions Printing" at 1696 Aurora Road in Melbourne (Near Eau Gallie High School). Phone is 255-3922.

I was satisfied with the results, and he keeps a couple of copies of my book on his counter, so you can see for yourself. The bad news is, he is very busy.

Other printers I interviewed and would use:
2) PIP Printing 275 Magnolia Ave, Merritt Island 452-2800
3) All Star Printing 131 Tomahawk Dr Indian Harbour Bch 777-7320
4) Blue Note Publishing 400 W. Cocoa Beach Causeway, Cocoa Bch 799-2583

Note: This last guy specializes in books, but he is usually very busy and sometimes hard to reach.

Best of luck with your project!

Hate your job? Work for an idiot? This book was written for you!

You might want to consider a POD publisher. I've had good response from iUniverse. They can get a book done in about 6 to 8 weeks. They are professional and fast. They will take care of the ISBN and all the related items needed to be published, including doing your book cover if you want that done.

Suggestion: get your copyright filed before you start to take your work out to others.

Thanks for the info. We decided to go with a printer in Tampa.
