About the Space Coast Writers' Guild

The Space Coast Writers’ Guild, Inc.,(SCWG) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, located in Brevard County, Florida since 1982. Annual dues are $35 ($25 for students). Monthly meetings are held at the Fountains at 4451 Stack Boulevard, Melbourne (directions), the third Saturday of each month. You can contact us by mail at:

Members are encouraged to attend monthly meetings and are invited to participate in critique groups, workshops, contests, conferences and other SCWG activities. Members receive a monthly newsletter to which they may contribute. Membership is also an excellent way to network and join other writers in an on-line list, critique groups, Blueprints Book Clubs or the children’s story group. Membership application is available on-line.

Membership usually varies between 150 and 200 members annually, approximately one third of which have published books, as described under the Authors tab above.
